(Image credit: Sony Pictures) The Spider-Verse continues to expand, this time with Alfred Molina's Doctor Octpous joining the Sony/Marvel partnership in the new Spider-Man film. Molina joins Jamie Foxx's Electro in the second-chance film that's beginning to look more and more like a gateway to Marvel's Sinister Six story. Spider-Man 3 will be once again directed by Jon Watts, with Chris McKenne and Erik Sommers penning the script. Returning characters include Zendaya's Mary Jane, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Jacob Batalon as Peter's best friend Ned. And, of course, Peter Parker himself - Tom Holland. While Holland's Spider-Man has always been unique in the sense that he signifies a groundbreaking partnership between Marvel and Sony, this expansion of the Spider-Verse remains hugely noteworthy as well. Each new chapter of Spider-Man, of which Holland's version makes the third, has completely ignored the one before it. After the success of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, bringing in multiple old favorites seems like an obvious move to continue to get more butts in seats, but it doesn't pull away from the surprise that they're actually taking the risk in a live-action film.
RahXephon Complete Collection RahXephon Complete Collection is an eight-disc set that includes all 26 episodes of RahXephon, as well as the RahXephon: Pluralitas Concentio anime film. This set was released by ADV in 2009. RahXephon focuses on a 17-year-old boy named Ayato Kamina; he's an average student who enjoys painting and spending time with his friends. One day, Ayato is caught in the middle of a sudden attack launched on Tokyo. He finds his classmate Reika Mishima singing, and she leads him to a giant egg that contains a mecha called RahXephon. Ayato finds himself piloting the RahXephon and fighting against a weapon of alien invaders called the Mu. Haruka, an agent of an organization of TERRA, brings Ayato and the RahXephon to the orangization's headquarters. Ayato learns that things aren't as they seemed, and he's also presented with a lot of conflicting information. Ayato, along with the audience, tries to figure out what may or may not be the truth. When I first started watching RahXephon, I was seeing some similarities with Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Ansem questions the young man, who has complete amnesia. The young man reveals his name to be Xehanort, to which Braig gives a triumphant smile. Xehanort then falls unconscious; Ansem has Braig carry Xehanort back to the castle. Braig asks Dilan to retrieve the Keyblade and armor. Some time later, Aqua wanders throughout the Realm of Darkness. A Darkside rises before her, and she summons Eraqus's Keyblade and prepares to fight. Suddenly, three more Darksides appear, and Aqua contemplates simply giving in to the darkness, dismissing the Keyblade. Before one of the Darksides has a chance to strike, two beams of light appear and vanquish the Darkside pack; upon closer inspection, they are revealed as the Earth Shaker and the Wayward Wind. Aqua then smiles, something she realizes she had almost forgotten to do. She takes her Wayfinder out of her pocket, and proclaims that there is always a way. Sora and Ven's heart Sora appears on a Dive to the Heart Station. Looking up, he spots Ven's heart floating down above him, and asks it if it can hear him.
